You have permission to slow down and go with the flow in salubrious St Ives. Once known for its apple orchards and timber felling industry, today this Upper North Shore haven is a treasured gem just 16kms out of the city.

If you’re a St Ives resident, it’s a prerequisite that you must love kids. The leafy streets, parks and shopping districts are always buzzing with children and their parents. Come the weekend, you can hear the passionate cheers of community sports and heartfelt laughter from the backyard BBQ’s, dancing through the air.

Mona Vale Road is the vein connecting St Ives to the glorious Northern Beaches, Macquarie Park and the call of the city under an hour away, it’ s main shopping hub The St Ives Shopping Centre is a hive of activity, where you can browse designer boutiques, receives some serious pampering, or slowly sip a latte in one of the many cafes.

On the first Sunday of every month, fresh organic fruits, vegetables and handicrafts tempt the locals at the St Ives Handmade Markets, whilst each Spring, the Ku-ring-gai wildflower garden, with its wonderful bush walking and picnicking spots comes into full bloom each Spring.

Just like its name suggests, St Ives with its natural beauty, abundance of space, and peaceful surrounds does appear to be blessed.

People

St Ives is the perfect neighbourhood for families, professionals and mature couples. The locals are well established, family focused and appreciate the finer things in life. > The retail strip along Mona Vale Road provides additional retail amenity with easy access. Other Large shopping facilities nearby include Westfield Hornsby and Macquire Centre.

Recreational Facilities

> One of Ku-ring-gai's largest sports facilities, St Ives Village Green is fully equipped with four baseball diamonds, four floodlit tennis courts (dual-marked for netball), a skate park and playground. This venue hosts a range of community events, including Festival on the Green, and is also a popular spot for family picnics, conveniently located right next to the shopping centre.
> St Ives Showground is Ku-ring-gai's largest sports and recreation venue with equestrian and dog training rings, soccer field, BMX riding facilities, BBQs and picnic tables. It plays host to numerous events throughout the year, from community markets to dressage competitions, and is also the venue for the annual St Ives Show.
